Laura is a provisional psychologist who is passionate about working with people across the lifespan. Laura is particularly interested in working with children and their families and supporting people in regional and rural areas. Laura brings a gentle, supportive and respectful approach to helping her clients explore factors contributing to their difficulties and work towards their individual goals.

Prior experience

Laura has experience in working with young people and adults who present with a wide range of mental health difficulties such as depression, anxiety and trauma, and psychosocial issues such as difficulties coping with stressful life events, interpersonal difficulties and grief. Laura adopts a holistic approach to therapy and has experience using several well-researched psychological strategies such as cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT),acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and dialectical behaviour therapy(DBT).
