Mental Health Care Plan
You may be able to claim a rebate through Medicare. To do so, you will need a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP. With a Mental Health Care Plan, you can receive rebates for 6 to 10 psychology or accredited mental health social worker appointments each calendar year. Book a long appointment with your GP to find out if you’re eligible.
Eating Disorder Plan
With an Eating Disorder plan, you may receive rebates for up to 40 psychology or accredited mental health social worker appointments. This is instead of a Mental Health Care Plan.
Helping Children with Autism
Children with a Helping Children with Autism plan may receive rebates for up to 20 psychology appointments. They may also qualify for a Mental Health Care Plan.
