Charlotte works with a primarily Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approach, although frequently includes elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), allowing for a holistic and flexible integration of psychological interventions. These elements may include mindfulness, and positive psychology. Charlotte aims to assist clients through clarifying and improving understanding of their difficulties through an open formulation, and employing a range of strategies or interventions to assist in their management, with goals of client empowerment, and normalising mental health experiences.
Throughout her training and practice, Charlotte has worked across a range of sectors, including private practice, schools, and hospitals, including a mental health unit. Charlotte is currently undertaking a registrar program in clinical psychology, which includes ongoing professional development and supervision to further her skills and specialisation.
