Gemma’s prioritizes developing a safe, secure, and inclusive, therapeutic relationship in therapy.


Gemma has an interest in skill building. Areas such as; mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness in relationships, emotional regulation, reframing and managing distress. 


Gemma has a holistic approach to mental health, considering biopsychosocial factors

and a vast range of actions that can be implemented to support mental wellness. Gemma uses a range of therapeutic modalities to tailor treatment to your needs. These include:

  • EMDR
  • Dialectical Behavioural Therapy
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
  • Family Based Treatment (FBT for Eating Disorders).


Prior experience

Gemma has worked within Australia and Internationally within Community and Private Mental Health Organizations. Gemma has experience working with people that have physical disabilities or Neurodivergence.

Gemma has extensive experience working with youth and families in Child Protective services.
