Jen

Jen is a postgraduate student currently completing a Master of Counselling and Psychotherapy. Jen is passionate about providing others with a safe and trusting relationship to improve their mental health. Jen brings over a decade of experience working with individuals and families affected by trauma, primarily within regional settings. Alongside a strong academic foundation in psychology, Jen’s work is informed by a trauma-informed, relational approach that prioritises safety, trust, and collaboration. Jen offers a calm, grounded presence and is committed to supporting people and families navigating distress, loss, and significant life transitions.

Background

Prior experience

Jen has over 10 years experience working with trauma-impacted individuals and families, particularly within regional and rural communities. This work has strengthened her understanding of resilience, and the importance of accessible, relationship-based support for people.

Jen is currently completing postgraduate training and developing her counselling and psychotherapy practice under professional supervision as part of her pathway toward qualification.
