Kristen tailors treatment to each person's strengths, goals and individual circumstances, primarily drawing skills from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Kristen strives to create a safe, supportive and collaborative environment where clients feel empowered to explore challenges, build on their strengths and work towards what is most meaningful for them. Kristen is curious and loves to learn new skills, ensuring that she is best able to support her clients.
Prior to a career change, Kristen spent over 10 years working in the legal sector in the Goulburn Valley, supporting clients to navigate legal issues centring around family breakdown, family violence and victims of crime. Kristen later chose to pursue a career in psychology to enable her to better support rural access to mental health support.
